เมื่อวันที่ 5 กุมภาพันธ์ 2567 นางสาวภัคณัฏฐ์ มากช่วย ผู้ว่าการสถาบันการบินพลเรือน พร้อมด้วยนางสาววราภรณ์ เต็มแก้ว ผู้อำนวยการกองวิชาวิทยาการการบิน เข้าร่วมเป็นเกียรติตามคำเชิญของคุณเทียนทอง โสภา ผู้อำนวยการท่าอากาศยานนานาชาติบ่อแก้ว ในพิธีเปิดท่าอากาศยานนานาชาติบ่อแก้ว แขวงบ่อแก้ว สาธารณรัฐประชาธิปไตยประชาชนลาว โดยมีนายสอนไซ สีพันดอน นายกรัฐมนตรี สปป.ลาว พร้อมด้วยนายจ้าวเหว่ย ประธานเขตเศรษฐกิจพิเศษสามเหลี่ยมทองคำและกลุ่มบริษัทดอกงิ้วคำ ซึ่งได้รับสัมปทานการก่อสร้างและบริหารสนามบินขึ้นในพื้นที่เขตเศรษฐกิจพิเศษสามเหลี่ยมทองคำ สำหรับท่าอากาศยานนานาชาติบ่อแก้วมีขนาดรันเวย์ยาว 2,500 เมตร กว้าง 60 เมตร สามารถรองรับเครื่องบิน Boeing 737-900ER และเครื่องบินพาณิชย์อื่นๆ ในขนาดใกล้เคียง นอกจากนี้ยังมีคณะผู้บริหารจากรัฐบาล สปป.ลาว พร้อมด้วยข้าราชการ และนักธุรกิจภาคเอกชนเข้าร่วมเป็นเกียรติในครั้งนี้ด้วย
โดยที่ผ่านมา สบพ. ได้ดำเนินการฝึกอบรมให้กับบุคลากรของท่าอากาศยานนานาชาติบ่อแก้วจำนวน 5 หลักสูตร เพื่อให้บุคลากรมีคุณสมบัติและสามารถปฏิบัติงานให้เป็นไปตามมาตรฐานของกรมการบินพลเรือน สปป.ลาว (Department of Civil Aviation of Laos : DCAL) และการขอรับรองการดำเนินสนามบินที่กำหนดไว้ ซึ่งในอนาคต สบพ มีแผนให้การสนับสนุนการพัฒนาบุคลากรของท่าอากาศยานนานาชาติบ่อแก้ว อย่างต่อเนื่อง
On February 5, 2024, Miss Pukkanut Makchouy, CATC President, together with Miss Waraporn Temkaew, Director of Aviation Science Division, was honored to attend the ceremony of Bokeo International Airport opening in Lao People’s Democratic Republic (Lao PDR) due to the invitation sent by Mr. Tienthong Sopha, Director of the Bokeo International Airport. Mr. Sonexay Siphandone, Prime Minister of Lao People’s Democratic Republic, together with Mr. Zhao Wei, President of the Golden Triangle Special Economic Zone (SEZ) and Dok Ngiew Kham Group, also attended the opening ceremony. Mr. Zhao Wei was granted with the concession, regarding the airport construction and management in the Golden Triangle Special Economic Zone (SEZ). Bokeo International Airport has a runway with the length of 2,500 meters, the width of 60 meters, and the capacity to support Boeing 737-900ER Aircraft and other commercial aircraft in a similar size. Moreover, there were executives from the Lao People’s Democratic Republic Government, government officers, and business persons, attended the honorable event.
