เมื่อวันที่ 5 เมษายน 2568 นางสาววรินทร เลี่ยมนาค ผู้อำนวยการสำนักสื่อสารและพัฒนาธุรกิจการบิน พร้อมคณะผู้บริหาร ครูการบิน และคณาจารย์ สบพ. ให้การต้อนรับ Mr.Viengxay Singkham ตำแหน่ง Managing Director ของสายการบินลาว (Lao Airlines) พร้อมคณะผู้บริหาร ในโอกาสเข้าเยี่ยมชมกิจการของสถาบันการบินพลเรือน ณ ศูนย์ฝึกการบิน อ.หัวหิน จ.ประจวบคีรีขันธ์
การเดินทางมาเยี่ยมชมฯ ในครั้งนี้ เป็นการตอบรับคำเชิญจาก สบพ. ในโอกาสที่ ผวก.สบพ. และคณะผู้บริหารฯ เดินทางไปเยือนกรุงเวียงจันทร์ สาธารณรัฐประชาธิปไตย ประชาชนลาว(สปป.ลาว) ระหว่างวันที่ 16-17 มกราคม 2568 ที่ผ่านมา ในคราวที่ Mr.Viengxay ดำรงตำแหน่งอธิบดีกรมการบินพลเรือน สปปล. ต่อมาเมื่อวันที่ 19 กุมภาพันธ์ 2568 Mr.Viengxay ได้รับการแต่งตั้งให้ดำรงตำแหน่งผู้บริหารสูงสุดของสายการบินลาว จึงได้นำคณะผู้บริหารของสายการบินลาว มาเยี่ยมชมกิจการของ สบพ. ในครั้งนี้
คณะผู้บริหารของสายการบินลาว ได้รับฟังการบรรยายสรุปภารกิจ ข้อมูลหลักสูตรและการให้บริการที่เกี่ยวข้องของ สบพ. รวมทั้งโครงการปรับปรุงอาคารและโครงสร้างพื้นฐานของศูนย์ฝึกการบิน หัวหิน เพื่อสร้างความเชื่อมั่นในศักยภาพการจัดฝึกอบรม ตลอดจน มาตรฐานความเป็นเลิศสูงสุดในการผลิตบุคลากรด้านการบินภายในภูมิภาคต่อหน่วยงานกลุ่มเป้าหมาย นอกจากนี้ ยังได้เข้าเยี่ยมชมสถานที่ฝึกอบรม ห้องเรียน อุปกรณ์การฝึก ได้แก่ เครื่องบิน เฮลิคอปเตอร์ และเครื่องฝึกบินจำลอง(Simulators)
การเยี่ยมชมกิจการของ สบพ. ในครั้งนี้ ได้สร้างความเชื่อมั่นในศักยภาพ และมาตรฐานการฝึกอบรมระดับสากลของ สบพ. ต่อคณะผู้บริหารของสายการบินลาว โดยเฉพาะหลักสูตรภาคอากาศ และหลักสูตรนายช่างอากาศภาคพื้นดิน โดยจะนำข้อมูลไปต่อยอดเพื่อหารือแนวทางต่อยอดความร่วมมือการสร้างบุคลากรด้านการบินที่มีมาตรฐาน ระหว่างสองหน่วยงานในลำดับต่อไป
On April 5, 2025, Miss Varintorn Liamnak, Director of Communication and Aviation Business Development Division, together with CATC executives, flight instructors, and instructors, took an opportunity to welcome Mr. Viengxay Singkham, Managing Director of Lao Airlines, and executives from Lao Airlines, in a study visit at the Flight Training Center of CATC, located in Hua Hin District, Prachuap Khiri Khan Province.
The study visit was taken due to the invitation offered by CATC. Previously, the CATC President and executives have visited Vientiane, Lao People’s Democratic Republic (Lao PDR), from January 16-17 January 2025, on the occasion that Mr. Viengxay Singkham was in the position of the Director General of the Department of Civil Aviation of Lao PDR (DCAL). Later, on February 19, 2025, Mr. Viengxay Singkham was appointed as the Managing Director of Lao Airlines which was the highest position of Lao Airlines. Then, he took the Lao Airlines executives to take a study visit at CATC.
The Lao Airlines executives listened to the CATC’s briefings on the CATC’s missions, courses, study programs, relevant services, and the projects on the renovation and improvement of buildings and infrastructures of the Flight Training Center of CATC in Hua Hin District. CATC strived to build up trust in terms of its competencies in training preparation and conduct, and the compliance of the standard of excellence in producing aviation personnel in the region for serving targeted organizations. Furthermore, the delegates from Lao Airlines visited the training venues, classrooms, training materials, and equipment, such as aircraft, aeroplanes, helicopters, and simulators.
The study visit at CATC would lead to trust, gained from the Lao Airlines executives, in terms of the CATC’s competencies, and its compliance of the international training standards. Especially, the CATC’s flight training programs and ground training courses met the high standards. Aviation data and information would be extended for discussion on the further cooperation on producing qualified aviation personnel, between the 2 organizations: CATC and Lao Airlines.
