The Civil Aviation Training Center (CATC) participates in the 59th Conference of Directors General of Civil Aviation, Asia and Pacific Regions (59th DGCA Conference) in Cebu, Republic of the Philippines

Civil Aviation Training Center (CATC), represented by Ms. Pakkanat Makchouy, President, and Ms. Phee Sunantarod, Head of the Office of TRAINAIR PLUS Course Development and Training, participated in the 59th Conference of Directors General of Civil Aviation, Asia and Pacific Regions. The event was held at Dusit Thani Mactan Cebu Hotel in Cebu, Republic of the Philippines, from October 14 to 18, 2024. The CATC delegation joined the Thai representatives, led by Mr. Suttipong Kongpool, Director General of the Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand (CAAT)

During the conference, CATC executives had the opportunity to engage with senior officials from the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) and civil aviation authorities from various countries. The conference resulted in several significant conclusions concerning aviation training, including:

The integration of new technologies in alignment with ICAO Standards and Recommended Practices (SARPs) and related guidance materials.

– The promotion of gender equality through the alignment of goals and initiatives aimed at advancing sustainable international civil aviation for the next 80 years.

– The enhancement of management training on aviation security.

– The promotion of CORSIA training and the development of additional related curricula.

– The strengthening of the Regional Training Cooperation Framework (RTCF).

These conclusions highlight ICAO’s strong emphasis on aviation sustainability, an area that CATC, as a key institution in aviation personnel training, must be prepared to address by offering relevant training programs in the near future.

 

สถาบันการบินพลเรือน (สบพ.) เข้าร่วมการประชุมระดับผู้อำนวยการสำนักงานการบินพลเรือน ภูมิภาคเอเชียและแปซิฟิก ครั้งที่ 59 (59th DGCA Conference) ณ เมืองเซบู สาธารณรัฐฟิลิปปินส์

สถาบันการบินพลเรือน โดย นางสาวภัคณัฏฐ์ มากช่วย ผู้ว่าการสถาบันการบินพลเรือน และนางสาวพีร์ สุนันทารอด หัวหน้าสำนักงานพัฒนาหลักสูตรและฝึกอบรม TRAINAIR PLUS ได้เข้าร่วมการประชุมระดับผู้อำนวยการสำนักงานการบินพลเรือน ภูมิภาคเอเชียและแปซิฟิก ครั้งที่ 59 ซึ่งจัดขึ้น ณ โรงแรมดุสิตธานี มักตัน เซบู เมืองเซบู สาธารณรัฐฟิลิปปินส์ ระหว่างวันที่ 14-18 ตุลาคม 2567 โดยเข้าร่วมกับคณะประเทศไทยที่นำโดยนายสุทธิพงศ์ คงพูล ผู้อำนวยการสำนักงานการบินพลเรือนแห่งประเทศไทย

ในระหว่างการประชุม ผู้บริหารของ สบพ. ได้มีโอกาสพบปะและหารือกับผู้บริหารจากองค์การการบินพลเรือนระหว่างประเทศ (ICAO) และสำนักงานการบินพลเรือนจากหลายประเทศ โดยได้ข้อสรุปที่สำคัญเกี่ยวกับการฝึกอบรมด้านการบิน ดังนี้:

 

 

– การนำเทคโนโลยีใหม่ ๆ มาใช้ให้สอดคล้องกับมาตรฐาน ICAO SARPs และเอกสาร Guidance Materials

– การส่งเสริมความเท่าเทียมทางเพศ โดยประสานกับเป้าหมายและโครงการต่าง ๆ เพื่อพัฒนาการบินพลเรือนระหว่างประเทศให้มีความยั่งยืนต่อสิ่งแวดล้อมในระยะยาว

– การส่งเสริมการฝึกอบรมในระดับบริหารด้านความมั่นคงทางการบิน (Aviation Security)

– การส่งเสริมการฝึกอบรมด้านโครงการ CORSIA และพัฒนาหลักสูตรเพิ่มเติม

– การส่งเสริมโครงการความร่วมมือด้านการฝึกอบรมระดับภูมิภาค (Regional Training Cooperation Framework – RTCF)

จากข้อสรุปการประชุมดังกล่าว สะท้อนให้เห็นว่า ICAO ให้ความสำคัญอย่างยิ่งกับการพัฒนาการบินอย่างยั่งยืน (Aviation Sustainability) ซึ่ง สบพ. ในฐานะหน่วยงานหลักในการผลิตบุคลากรด้านการบิน จะต้องเตรียมพร้อมและดำเนินการเปิดการฝึกอบรมในส่วนที่เกี่ยวข้องต่อไป
