เมื่อวันที่ 20 มกราคม 2569 นางสาวภัคณัฏฐ์ มากช่วย ผู้ว่าการสถาบันการบินพลเรือน พร้อมด้วยคณะผู้บริหารสถาบันการบินพลเรือน (สบพ.) เข้าคารวะและอวยพรเนื่องในเทศกาลปีใหม่แด่ พลอากาศเอก เสกสรร คันธา ผู้บัญชาการทหารอากาศ เพื่อแสดงไมตรีจิตและสานสัมพันธ์อันดีระหว่างหน่วยงาน ณ กองทัพอากาศ ดอนเมือง กรุงเทพมหานคร
ในโอกาสนี้ ทั้งสองหน่วยงานได้หารือแลกเปลี่ยนแนวทางความร่วมมือด้านการพัฒนาและผลิตบุคลากรการบินตามมาตรฐานสากล เพื่อรองรับการเติบโตของอุตสาหกรรมการบินในภูมิภาคเอเชียแปซิฟิก โดยกองทัพอากาศมีแผนความร่วมมือด้านการฝึกอบรมนักบิน โดยเฉพาะการพิจารณาส่งนักบินเข้ารับการฝึกในหลักสูตร Commercial Pilot Licence – Helicopter ของสถาบันการบินพลเรือน ซึ่ง สบพ.มีความพร้อมด้านทรัพยากรการฝึก ทั้งอากาศยานเฮลิคอปเตอร์สำหรับการฝึกและโครงสร้างพื้นฐานที่ได้มาตรฐาน
ความร่วมมือดังกล่าวนับเป็นแนวทางสำคัญที่จะช่วยเพิ่มประสิทธิภาพในการพัฒนานักบิน อีกทั้งเป็นการประหยัดงบประมาณของกองทัพอากาศจากการใช้ทรัพยากรร่วมกันอย่างคุ้มค่า ควบคู่ไปกับการยกระดับคุณภาพการฝึกอบรมให้สอดคล้องกับมาตรฐานสากล
ทั้งนี้ ผู้บัญชาการทหารอากาศได้ให้ความมั่นใจในการร่วมสนับสนุนภารกิจต่าง ๆ ของสถาบันการบินพลเรือนให้ดำเนินไปอย่างราบรื่น อาทิ การร่วมพัฒนาหลักสูตรด้านการบิน การพัฒนานักบิน การบริการการจราจรทางอากาศ การพัฒนาองค์ความรู้ด้านอากาศยานไร้คนขับ (UAV) ตลอดจนการปรับปรุงโครงสร้างอาคารสถานที่ให้มีความทันสมัย สอดรับกับการเปลี่ยนแปลงของโลกในปัจจุบัน เพื่อร่วมกันขับเคลื่อนความมั่นคงของชาติในทุกมิติอย่างยั่งยืน
On January 20, 2026, Miss Pukkanut Makchouy, CATC President, together with the CATC executives, took an opportunity to pay a courtesy call, and give the New Year’s blessing words to Air Chief Marshal Sakesan Kantha, Commander-in-Chief of the Royal Thai Air Force (RTAF), in order to show great hospitality and build up good relationships between CATC and RTAF. The aforementioned event took place at the Royal Thai Air Force, Don Mueang Base, Bangkok.
Due to this opportunity, the 2 organizations, CATC and RTAF, discussed and exchanged guidelines on cooperation for developing and producing qualified aviation personnel to meet the international standards for supporting the growth of aviation industry in the Asia Pacific Region. The Royal Thai Air Force has prepared plans on the pilot training cooperation, especially for used in the consideration for sending pilots to participate in the Commercial Pilot License – Helicopter Course by CATC since the CATC is always ready and prompt for conducting training courses in terms of training resources, including helicopters for flight trainings, and fundamental structures and facilities that are conform to the standards.
The aforementioned cooperation made between CATC and RTAF was considered important guidelines for enhancing effectiveness in pilot development, and RTAF budget saving due to the effectively shared use of resources, and uplifting the training quality to conform to the international standards.
The Commander-in-Chief of the Royal Thai Air Force (RTAF) put trust in CATC and supported the CATC’s missions smoothly; for example, the RTAF has been jointly developing and improving aviation courses and programmes with CATC, involving pilot development, air traffic services development, unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) knowledge development, and improvement of buildings and facilities for modernity, in order to conform to the current trends and changes in the today’s world. RTAF and CATC cooperatively propelled the national security and stability in all aspects with sustainability.
