เมื่อวันที่ 25 มีนาคม 2568 พระบาทสมเด็จพระเจ้าอยู่หัว ทรงพระกรุณาโปรดเกล้าโปรดกระหม่อม ให้สมเด็จพระกนิษฐาธิราชเจ้า กรมสมเด็จพระเทพรัตนราชสุดาฯ สยามบรมราชกุมารี เสด็จพระราชดำเนินแทนพระองค์ไปในการพระราชทานปริญญาบัตรแก่ผู้สำเร็จการศึกษา จากมหาวิทยาลัยเทคโนโลยีสุรนารี และสถาบันการบินพลเรือน ประจำปีการศึกษา 2566 ณ อาคารสุรพัฒน์ 2 มหาวิทยาลัยเทคโนโลยีสุรนารี จังหวัดนครราชสีมา โดยมี รศ. ดร.อนันต์
ทองระอา อธิการบดีมหาวิทยาลัยเทคโนโลยีสุรนารี, นางสาวภัคณัฏฐ์ มากช่วย ผู้ว่าการสถาบันการบินพลเรือน, ดร.พันศักดิ์ เนินทราย ผู้อำนวยการกองวิชาบริการการจราจรทางอากาศ รักษาการในตำแหน่งรองผู้ว่าการฝ่ายวิชาการ สถาบันการบินพลเรือน คณะผู้บริหาร คณาจารย์ เฝ้าทูลละอองพระบาท รับเสด็จ
สำหรับสถาบันการบินพลเรือน รัฐวิสาหกิจสังกัดกระทรวงคมนาคม ในฐานะสถาบันการศึกษาสมทบของมหาวิทยาลัยเทคโนโลยีสุรนารี มีผู้สำเร็จการศึกษาในระดับปริญญาโท และปริญญาตรี จำนวน 233 คน ดังนี้
- หลักสูตรการจัดการมหาบัณฑิต สาขาวิชาการจัดการการบิน จำนวน 10 คน
- หลักสูตรวิศวกรรมศาสตรบัณฑิต สาขาวิศวกรรมอิเล็กทรอนิกส์การบิน จำนวน 62 คน
- หลักสูตรการจัดการบัณฑิต สาขาวิชาการจัดการเทคโนโลยีการบิน จำนวน 149 คน
- หลักสูตรวิทยาศาสตรบัณฑิต สาขาวิชาวิทยาการการบิน จำนวน 12 คน
ในพิธีพระราชทานปริญญาบัตร ประจำปีการศึกษา 2566 ครั้งนี้ มีบัณฑิตที่ได้รับเกียรตินิยมอันดับ 1รวมจำนวน 14 คน ซึ่งในจำนวนนี้มีบัณฑิตที่ได้คะแนนยอดเยี่ยมเข้ารับพระราชทานเข็มทองคำ จำนวน 3 คน ได้แก่ หลักสูตรการจัดการบัณฑิต (การจัดการเทคโนโลยีการบิน) จำนวน 1 คน และหลักสูตรวิศวกรรมศาสตรบัณฑิต(วิศวกรรมอิเล็กทรอนิกส์การบิน) จำนวน 2 คน รวมทั้งมีบัณฑิตที่ได้รับเกียรตินิยมอันดับ 2 รวมจำนวน 14 คน จากสาขาวิชาต่าง ๆ อีกด้วย
โอกาสนี้ พระราชทานพระราโชวาทแก่ผู้สำเร็จการศึกษา ใจความสำคัญว่า “ในโอกาสที่บัณฑิตสำเร็จการศึกษาได้รับปริญญา ข้าพเจ้าขอเชิญพระบรมราโชวาทที่พระบาทสมเด็จพระเจ้าอยู่หัวได้พระราชทานไว้ มาเป็นเครื่องเตือนใจแก่ทุกท่านว่า “ปริญญาบัตรที่บัณฑิตได้รับในวันนี้ เป็นสิ่งที่มีความหมายและมีความสำคัญมาก เพราะเป็นเครื่องรับรองวิทยฐานะของแต่ละคน ว่าเป็นผู้มีความรู้ความสามารถในวิชาการสาขาต่าง ๆ ตามที่ได้อุตสาหะศึกษาเล่าเรียนมา บัณฑิตทุกคนจึงมีหน้าที่และความรับผิดชอบ ที่จะต้องนำความรู้ความสามารถที่มีอยู่ไปใช้สร้างสรรค์ความสำเร็จแก่ตนเองให้สมบูรณ์ ทั้งในด้านอาชีพการงาน ในด้านเกียรติคุณความดี และในด้านการทำประโยชน์เกื้อกูลแก่ส่วนรวมและประเทศชาติ ถ้าทุกคนจะได้ตระหนักในหน้าที่และความรับผิดชอบดังนี้ แล้วมุ่งมั่นทำให้จริง ให้สำเร็จครบถ้วนตามที่กล่าว แต่ละคนก็จะได้รับการยอมรับยกย่องว่าเป็นผู้ประพฤติตนปฏิบัติงานสมกับ
วิทยฐานะอย่างแท้จริง” จึงขอให้บัณฑิตทุกคนน้อมนำพระบรมราโชวาทนี้มาพิจารณาให้เข้าใจ เพื่อสร้างความตระหนักในหน้าที่ของตนอย่างถ่องแท้ จะได้สามารถสร้างสรรค์ประโยชน์ให้แก่ตนและส่วนรวม อันจะส่งผลให้บ้านเมืองมีความผาสุกร่มเย็นและมั่นคงยั่งยืนตลอดไป”
สถาบันการบินพลเรือน เป็นสถาบันการศึกษาเฉพาะทางที่ผลิตบุคลากรด้านการบินให้กับอุตสาหกรรมการบินทั้งในประเทศและต่างประเทศ โดยมีจุดแข็งเป็นสถาบันที่ได้รับการรับรองจากองค์การการบินพลเรือนระหว่างประเทศ (ICAO) ในฐานะสมาชิกโครงการ ICAO TRAINAIR PLUS ระดับ Platinum ซึ่งเป็นสถานะสมาชิกระดับสูงสุดของโครงการ นับเป็น 1 ใน 5 สถาบันฝึกอบรมในภูมิภาคเอเชีย และเป็น 1 ใน 12 สถาบันฝึกอบรมจากสมาชิก
ทั่วโลก รวมทั้งเป็นแห่งแรกและแห่งเดียวของไทย ภายใต้การรับรองจากสำนักงานการบินพลเรือนแห่งประเทศไทย(กพท.) และยังคงเพิ่มศักยภาพในการผลิตบุคลากรด้านการบิน เพื่อช่วยขับเคลื่อนอุตสาหกรรมการบินของประเทศตามนโยบายของรัฐบาล ในการผลักดันให้ประเทศไทยเป็นศูนย์กลางทางการบิน (Aviation Hub) ในภูมิภาค
On March 25, 2025, His Majesty the King graciously assigned Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn to preside over the certificate presenting ceremony held for the graduates from Suranaree University of Technology (SUT) and the Civil Aviation Training Center (CATC) in the Academic Year of 2023. The certificate presenting ceremony was held at Suraphat 2 Building, Suranaree University of Technology, Nakhon Ratchasima Province.
On the occasion, Associate Professor Dr. Anan Tongraar, Rector of SUT, Miss Pukkanut Makchouy, CATC President, Dr. Pansak Nernsai, Director of Air Traffic Services Division and Acting Vice President of Academic Affairs, CATC, executives, and instructors, were graciously granted a royal audience with Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn.
The CATC, a state enterprise under the Ministry of Transport, and an affiliated educational institute of Suranaree University of Technology, held the certificate presenting ceremony for the 233 graduates from the bachelor’s and master’s Programs, as follows.
- Master of Management Program in Aviation Management (10 graduates);
- Bachelor of Engineering Program in Avionics Engineering (62 graduates);
- Bachelor of Management Program in Aviation Technology Management (149 graduates); and
- Bachelor of Science Program in Aviation Science Management (12 graduates).
According to the certificate presenting ceremony in the Academic Year of 2023, there were 14 graduates who were awarded with the first-class honors; the 3 graduates from the first-class honors group received the golden pins. These 3 graduates were from the Bachelor of Management Program in Aviation Technology Management (1 graduate), and the Bachelor of Engineering Program in Avionics Engineering (2 graduates). Moreover, there were 14 graduates who were granted with the second-class honors; they were from different fields of study.
In this opportunity, Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn gave a speech to the graduates. The key messages were conveyed, “It is a great opportunity for students who are about to graduate and receive the certificates of completion. I would like to mention the royal guidance given by His Majesty the King and remind all of you that the certificates given today are very important and meaningful because they can guarantee your educational degree and background. All graduates are qualified with knowledge, competencies, and capabilities in their different fields of study, along with efforts and study disciplines. Every graduate has duties and responsibilities to apply knowledge and capability to build up success completely, in various aspects, such as the aspects of occupation, moral and virtue, and good deeds for benefitting the public and the nation. In case that everyone considers and emphasizes on duties and responsibilities, and is completely committed to take actions and make things happen, each person will be accepted and commended for behaving well and working well, conforming to the educational degree with authenticity. I would like all graduates to review and consider the royal guidance for thorough understanding in duties and responsibilities. You will be able to create both self-benefits and public benefits. As a result, our country will be fulfilled with happiness, harmony, stability, and sustainability”.
CATC is considered a specialized educational organization in aviation; it has been producing aviation personnel for working in the aviation industry at the domestic and international levels. Talking about the CATC’s strengths, it is an aviation training organization which is certified and approved by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), as the Platinum Member of the ICAO TRAINAIR PLUS Project; the Platinum Membership is regarded as the highest status of the ICAO TRAINAIR PLUS Project. The CATC is 1 of the 5 aviation training organizations in the Asia Region. In addition, it is 1 of the 12 aviation training organizations at the global member level. Furthermore, the CATC is the first and the only one aviation training center of Thailand which is approved, as an Approved Training Organization (ATO), by the Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand (CAAT). The CATC also increases its competency in producing aviation personnel in order to drive the country’s aviation industry forward, according to the Royal Thai Government Policies that strive to propel Thailand to become the Aviation Hub of the Region.
