ในโอกาสมาเพื่อร่วมประชุมหารือเตรียมความพร้อมรองรับความต้องการนักบินฝึกหัด (Student Pilot) กับ บริษัท การบินไทย จำกัด (มหาชน) เพื่อรับทราบถึงภารกิจ การดำเนินงานที่ผ่านมา รวมถึงพูดคุยเกี่ยวกับ บริษัท การบินไทย จำกัด (มหาชน) ได้เริ่มขยายฝูงบิน ทั้งแบบเครื่องลำตัวกว้างแบบ Boeing 787 และลำตัวแคบแบบ Airbus 321 Neo เพื่อให้สอดคล้องกับอุตสาหกรรมการบินในประเทศที่กำลังเติบโต และฟื้นตัวอย่างต่อเนื่องภายหลังสถานการณ์ COVID-19 อีกทั้งนโยบายรัฐบาลที่ผลักดันให้ประเทศไทยเป็นศูนย์กลางการบินหรือ Aviation Hub ภูมิภาค
โดย สบพ. มุ่งพัฒนาบุคลากรด้านการบินในทุกภาคส่วนทั้งระบบให้มีประสิทธิภาพ อันจะทำให้ทุกหน่วยเชื่อมโยงสู่เป้าหมายนำประเทศไทยสู่ศูนย์กลางการบิน (Aviation Hub) ตอบรับวิสัยทัศน์ที่ 4 ท่านนายกรัฐมนตรี ซึ่งเป็น 1 ใน 8 วิสัยทัศน์ที่มุ่งพัฒนาประเทศไทยสู่ศูนย์กลางเมืองแห่งอุตสาหกรรมระดับโลก ซึ่งจะทำบันทึกตกลงความร่วมมือกันในอนาคตต่อไป เมื่อวันที่ 1 เมษายน 2567 ณ สบพ. กรุงเทพฯ
Miss Pukkanut Makchouy, CATC President, together with CATC executives, and flight instructors, welcomed the Human Resources Delegates from Thai Airways International Public Company Limited, in a discussion meeting in order to be prepared for the demands for student pilots, in collaboration with Thai Airways International Public Company Limited. The meeting was conducted to acknowledge the previous missions, operations, and talks, regarding the squadron expansion by Thai Airways International Public Company Limited, involving Boeing 787 Aircraft which had wide fuselage, and Airbus 321 Neo Aircraft which had narrow fuselage. The demands for student pilots had to comply with the needs in the country’s growing and recovering aviation industry in continuity in the aftermath of the COVID-19, and the government policies that pushed Thailand forward, to become the aviation hub of the region.
CATC is committed to develop aviation personnel operating in all sectors and the whole systems for creating more efficiencies. This would help all units connect to the Thailand’s goal of becoming the aviation hub, responding to the 4th vision created by the Prime Minister of Thailand; it is considered 1 of the 8 visions for developing Thailand to become the global hub of industrial cities. There will be a memorandum of understanding (MoU) signing event in the future. The discussion meeting was held on April 1, 2024, at CATC, Bangkok.
