Robinson R-44 Type Rating Course Manual

Objectives of the course

The primary objective of this course is to equip trainees with the knowledge, skills, and aeronautical experience needed to fulfill the requirements for refreshing the PPL or CPLHelicopter
Robinson R44 type rating. Through this training, trainees will maintain competency and ensure the currency of their helicopter licence.

Pre-entry requirement

• Hold a PPL-H or higher licence with an R44 type rating.
• Possess a valid Medical Certificate as appropriate.

Plan A (Valid License & rating)

Training 

• Theoretical Training                2.5          Hours
• Practical Training                    2          Hours

Fees : 48,000 THB

Plan B (License/rating expired not more than 90 days)

Training 

• Theoretical Training                6        Hours
• Practical Training                     3         Hours

Fees : 76,500 THB

Plan C – Initial Robinson R44 Type Rating (Experience engine turbine)

Training 

• Theoretical Training                12      Hours
• Practical Training                     10        Hours

Fees : 239,000 THB*

Plan D – Initial Robinson R44 Type Rating (Experience engine piston)

Training 

• Theoretical Training                10      Hours
• Practical Training                     10        Hours

Fees : 235,000 THB*

Remark* Both price for plan C & D excluded the 2 hous-flight check fees
