Robinson R-44 transition course

Objectives of the course

The objective of this course is to qualify a helicopter pilot to act as pilot in command in the Robinson R44 helicopter. This course meets the experience and training requirements of Special Federal Aviation Regulation (SFAR) 73.

Training 

• Theoretical Training               6         Hours
• Practical Training                  10         Hours

Pre-entry requirement

• Hold a helicopter category/class rating on their pilot certificate.
• Hold a current Class 2 Medical or higher.
