COURSE GOAL

This course provides trainees with a concise overview of human behavior and performance, emphasizing effective management in aviation operations by covering fundamental principles, examining the impact of human limitations on performance, and offering insights into optimizing human performance within aviation systems, excluding safety management system aspects, to refresh and reinforce essential knowledge for aviation professionals.

COURSE OBJECTIVE

Upon completing this course, trainees will be able to;

• Understand the contribution of human factors to operational errors in aviation.
• Differentiate between various types of human errors and their implications, and apply strategies to avoid and manage errors effectively.
• Develop practical knowledge of key error models and theories related to human performance.
• Recognize the impact of physical limitations and environmental factors on human performance in aviation operations.

TARGET POPULATION

• Aviation Professionals with safety-related responsibility;
• Pilot, flight crew, airline and operational staff, Air traffic controllers, Civil aviation authority and aircraft maintenance staff;
• Other possible potential positions of aviation personnel who wish to enhance their knowledge and skills in Human Factor related.

• Has completed a Human Factors for Aviation Personnel (HUM-GEN) or Other Human Factors Initial Course
