Course Objective

To equip specialized cartographer for aeronautical information services with advanced
knowledge and practical skills in geospatial concepts and ICAO-compliant aeronautical chart
production. The course prepares trainees to apply GIS tools, particularly QGIS, to develop and
maintain high-quality aeronautical charts used in international civil aviation.

Qualification of Applicant

The participants shall ;
1) Have successfully completed the AIS Cartography Course or AIS Cartography for Procedure
Designers Course or Aeronautical Cartography Course or Equivalent.
2) Have favorable experience and knowledge in cartographic work.
3) Have a good command of the English language.
