COURSE GOAL

This course provides trainees with principles knowledge regarding aviation security
awareness that comply with international standards and National Civil Aviation Security
Programme (NCASP). The course introduces security measures and regulations to be applied in the workplace to identify unusual situations and prevent security threats.

COURSE OBJECTIVE

After completing this course, the participants will be equipped with a basic understanding of the following;

• Explain the purpose of training and the importance of Aviation Security.
• Describe security organizations, roles, and responsibilities at the airport.
• Identify access control concepts, challenging procedures, and penalties for non-compliance.
• Explain preliminary security incidents and suspicious activity handling procedures.
• Describe the need for security awareness.
• Identify the nature of threats and risks to civil aviation.
• Explain the need for aviation security measures within the civil aviation industry.
• Recognize the basic measures applied to ensure the protection of civil aviation.
• Recognize the dangerous objects.

CERTIFICATE CRITERIA

• Certificate of Attendance for participants with 80% of attendance
• Certificate of Successful Completion for participants with 80% of attendance and get an average score of 80%
