COURSE GOAL

In order for an airport to be better prepared for a company with local Civil Aviation Regulations and ICAO Standards, airport industry stakeholders must understand that safety and security are the number one priority for the airport industry and that
they must be correctly implemented. This course seeks to improve the participants’ ability to facilitate the safe, secure, and efficient movement of aircraft, passengers, baggage, and cargo/mail; and to provide a consistent level of service in conformity with global standards identified by ICAO and recognized stakeholders.

COURSE OBJECTIVE

After completing this course, the participants will be equipped with a basic understanding of the following;

• Describe the safety operations and the factors that affect safety at airports;
• Explain how to control and maintain safety at the airport;
• Describe the component and its feature of and airport Emergency Procedure;
• Gain an Understanding of SMS systems, their importance, and application;
• Describe Information System for Airport operation.

TARGET POPULATION

• Airport Operation Officers, Technicians Staff and Manager;
• Airport Safety Manager, Officers, and Staff.

Certification Criteria

• Certificate of Attendance for participants with 80% of attendance
• Certificate of Successful Completion for participants with 80% of attendance and get an average score of 80%
