สำหรับ “วันพระบิดาแห่งฝนหลวง” จัดขึ้นเพื่อเป็นการการเผยแพร่โครงการพระราชดำริฝนหลวง ครบปีที่ 70 แห่งการริเริ่ม และความก้าวหน้าในการปฏิบัติการฝนหลวง และเพื่อเป็นการแสดงความจงรักภักดี และน้อมรำลึกในพระมหากรุณาธิคุณของพระบาทสมเด็จพระบรมชนกาธิเบศรมหาภูมิพลอดุลยเดชมหาราช บรมนาถบพิตร ประจำปี 2568

Dr. Pansak Nernsai, Director of Air Traffic Services Division and Acting Vice President of Academic Affairs, CATC, together with CATC executives, attended the Phan Phum laying ceremony; Phan Phum is the Thai traditional pedestal tray with lotus bud-shaped fabric flowers, or sometimes real flowers, in order to pay homage to the passing His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej The Great, on the occasion of the 2025 Annual Father of Royal Rainmaking Day. On the occasion, Captain Thammanat Prompao, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Agriculture and Cooperatives, for the Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives, presided over the Phan Phum laying ceremony, on November 14, 2025, at Siam Paragon Shopping Mall, Bangkok.
The event of the “Father of Royal Rainmaking Day” was held to publicize the 70th Anniversary of the initiative Royal Rainmaking Project and its progress and advancement in the royal rainmaking work and operations, and to show respect, express loyalty, and commemorate the gracious kindness of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej The Great, in the 2025 Annual Father of Royal Rainmaking Day Event.
