นางสาวภัคณัฏฐ์ มากช่วย ผู้ว่าการสถาบันการบินพลเรือน (สบพ.) เป็นประธานในพิธีประดับเครื่องหมายแสดงความสามารถทางการบิน (ครึ่งปีก) และมอบประกาศนียบัตรให้กับศิษย์การบินหลักสูตรนักบินพาณิชย์ตรี-เครื่องบิน รุ่นที่ 124 ทุนส่วนตัว จำนวน 9 คน (ในจำนวนนี้เป็นนักศึกษาหลักสูตรวิศวกรรมศาสตรบัณฑิต สาขาวิชาวิศวกรรมอิเล็กทรอนิกส์การบิน วิชาโทนักบินพาณิชย์ตรี จาก สบพ. จำนวน 7 คน) และรุ่นที่ 126 ทุนบริษัท
การบินไทย จำกัด (มหาชน) จำนวน 28 คน รวมทั้งสิ้น 37 คน เมื่อวันที่ 12 กุมภาพันธ์ 2569 ณ ศูนย์ฝึกการบิน อ.หัวหิน จ. ประจวบคีรีขันธ์
ในพิธีได้รับเกียรติจากผู้อำนวยการศูนย์ฝึกการบิน ผู้อำนวยการกองฝึกบิน คณะครูการบิน คณาจารย์ ตลอดจนผู้บริหารจากหน่วยงานต่าง ๆ เข้าร่วมแสดงความยินดีอย่างพร้อมเพรียง อาทิ บริษัท การบินไทย จำกัด (มหาชน) บริษัท วิทยุการบินแห่งประเทศไทย จำกัด กรมท่าอากาศยาน และกองทัพอากาศ
ในโอกาสนี้ ผู้ว่าการ สบพ. ได้กล่าวแสดงความยินดีแก่ศิษย์การบินที่สามารถผ่านการปล่อยเดี่ยวได้อย่างครบถ้วน และปลอดภัย พร้อมให้โอวาทใจความสำคัญว่า การปล่อยเดี่ยวคือจุดหมายสำคัญของชีวิตนักบิน เป็นบทพิสูจน์ทั้งความรู้ ทักษะ วินัย และการตัดสินใจภายใต้มาตรฐานความปลอดภัยสากล ความสำเร็จในวันนี้เกิดจากความมุ่งมั่นและการฝึกฝนอย่างต่อเนื่อง และ“ขอให้ศิษย์การบินทุกคนก้าวสู่ฟากฟ้าอย่างสง่างาม บินอย่างมั่นคง ปลอดภัย และภาคภูมิใจในเกียรติแห่งวิชาชีพนักบินตลอดเส้นทางการบินของชีวิต”
ทั้งนี้เครื่องหมาย “ครึ่งปีก” จึงมิใช่เพียงสัญลักษณ์แห่งความสำเร็จ หากคือเครื่องหมายแห่งความรับผิดชอบต่อฟากฟ้าและชีวิตของผู้อื่น สะท้อนถึงการเรียนรู้ที่มีคุณภาพ และวัฒนธรรมความปลอดภัยทางการบิน (Aviation Safety Culture) ที่ สบพ. ยึดมั่นและปลูกฝังศิษย์การบินมาโดยตลอด
CATC Holds the “Half Wing” Badge Decoration Ceremony and Presents the Certificate of Course Completion to the 37 Student Pilots from Class 124, and Class 126.
Miss Pukkanut Makchouy, CATC President, presided over the ceremony of wing badge decoration (half wing) and presented the certificates of course completion to 37 students in total; comprising of 9 personally funded student pilots from the Commercial Pilot License (CPL) Course – Aeroplane, Class 124 (the 7 students, out of the 9 students, were students from the Bachelor of Engineering Study Programme in Avionics Engineering – with CPL Minor), 28 students from Class 126 that were funded by student pilot scholarships from Thai Airways International Pcl. (THAI). The aforementioned ceremony was held on February 12, 2026, at the Flight Training Center (Hua Hin) of CATC, located in Hua Hin District, Prachuap Khiri Khan Province.
The half wing badge decoration ceremony was honored to have Director of the Flight Training Center, Director of Flying Training Division, Flight Instructors, Instructors, and executives from various organizations, congratulate the student pilots attentively. There were executives from well-recognized organizations attended the aforementioned ceremony; they were from Thai Airways International Pcl. (THAI), Aeronautical Radio of Thailand (AEROTHAI), the Department of Airports (DOA), and the Royal Thai Air Force (RTAF).
In this opportunity, CATC President gave a congratulating speech to student pilots who could pass the completed solo flight flying with safety. Moreover, she presented a homily to the student pilots with the main message that releasing the student pilots to conduct their own solo flight was an important goal in a pilot’s life. The conduct of a solo flight could prove a pilot, in terms of knowledge, skills, discipline, and decision making, under the international safety standards. Today’s success comes from determination, commitment, and practice in continuity. The CAT President “would like all of the CATC’s student pilots to fly in the sky gracefully with security, safety, honor, and pride of the pilot profession, throughout their life-long aviation career”.
The “half wing” badge is not only a symbol of success, but also a symbol of responsibility toward flying into the sky and taking care of other people’s lives. It can reflect the studying and learning with quality, under the aviation safety culture that CATC always holds on to, and passes on from generation to generation of student pilots.
